"All drains lead to the ocean" - Finding Nemo

I've had my camera for about 6 months now and I am still struggling with lighting.  To compensate for this I usually mess around with editing software to enhance the image.  

I had a lot of difficulty with the bathroom lighting in these shots, but it all worked out...

Happy 1st Birthday Kylie!

I couldn't wait for Kylie's first birthday party last week.  The day went by quickly and the birthday girl, along with all of her friends, had a great time.  I really think the adults were outnumbered at this party, but apparently there were only around 20 kids (I would've guessed 40).  I also had my first piece of tomato pie (not pizza!), which was delicious!

Cousins!

I was going through some of my pictures from the Holidays and wanted to post a few more of my family.

The first set are the "cousins" pictures that we took for my Grandmother after our 4th (I think?) annual cousin's dinner.  We did this a few years ago, but since Karen & Eddie were married in 2010 and I was married in 2009, we had Joey, Justine and Bryan to add to the picture.  We also added Gianna and Ryan, my cousin Jen's adorable kids, who were born after we took the first picture.  

The second set of "cousins" pictures are of my nieces and nephew interacting with one another- it is so much fun to watch them play with one another and Kaitlyn, the oldest is so good with the younger ones.

Happy New Year!

Since we are 7 days into the New Year, I figured I should finish up blogging about 2010 and start on 2011.

The Holidays were a bit chaotic for my family, but it was also one of the best yet.  For almost two weeks, I was able to catch up with a lot of friends, family and spent some time with Bry (I love when he is not working, but I guess one of has to!).

We welcomed 2011 in Sea Isle City, NJ and spent the weekend in Avalon in a gorgeous house.  I only have a few good pictures of the honeymoon suite that Jess spent the weekend in with her new boyfriend, but if I find anymore good pictures I will post them too.  Most aren't appropriate for the blog, I think my friends would hate me for posting them!
